Overview
After initially being approached to monitor the vCCAP infrastructure of a well-known Communications Service Provider (CSP), it became clear there was a need to load test and validate this infrastructure prior to live deployment. To fulfil this need, Telesoft developed the Triton: vCCAP Test Tool, capable of providing production-like data rates and high-capacity device simulation, ensuring providers to ensure quality of service.
Telesoft's Solution
Following this, Telesoft developed the Triton: vCCAP Test Tool. Capable of generating 200Gbps of stateful upstream and downstream traffic, Triton enables the operator to replicate live traffic scenarios in a lab environment, validating infrastructure capability and providing confidence in service levels. In addition to generating high-rate traffic, Triton can simulate up to 100 Remote-PHY and 20,000 cable modem devices, eliminating the need to purchase, configure, connect, power, and cool a high volume of devices.
