HINTON-Packet-Probe scaledThe SIP & GTP Probe is a complete, integrated solution that provides law enforcement and intelligence agencies with real-time access to content in 1Gb to 100Gb and SDH/SONET core networks. Advanced Deep Packet Inspection capabilities enable the identification of specific communication content at full packet rates from multiplexed data streams.

The SIP & GTP Probe (part of the Hinton family) includes an ETSI standard handover interface for the transfer of data to an authorized Law Enforcement Monitoring Facility (LEMF). This means that complex network architecture is hidden from the LEMF, dramatically simplifying integration and deployment. With full auto-discovery and classification, the SIP & GTP Probe is also agnostic to changes in network provisioning. This ensures that the LEMF is unaffected by any network reconfiguration.

Access specific subscriber information at wire-line speeds

The SIP & GTP Probe supports Deep Packet Inspection from Layers 5 to 7, enabling delivery of specified content for specific subscribers, based on SIP-URI, email address, telephone number, MSISDN and IMEI, for example.

Hardware acceleration for Layer 2 to 4 filtering reduces overall system cost and processor demands in a range of applications:
