Business Development Executive


The primary objective of the Business Development Executive will be to support the sales function by identifying sales leads for Telesoft’s cybersecurity products and services. The leads will initially be progressed by colleagues in the sales team however they will also be used as a mechanism in your own training and development plan.


The Business Development Executive will:

  • Conduct self-initiated sales activities that generate sales leads, this will involve undertaking internet research followed by outbound social media, email and telephone campaigns.
  • Follow up and progress leads generated by the company’s marketing activities
  • Form and nurture positive relationships with target prospects
  • Secure meetings for Business Development Managers and effectively communicate needs and conversations
  • Build, maintain and grow a database of relevant prospects
  • Achieve key performance indicators for activities and meetings
  • Accurately record activities, customer interactions and customer data in the Company’s CRM system
  • Actively participate in and support company initiated sales campaigns
  • Attend and support marketing events and presentations as required
  • Maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction and represent the company to a high standard in all dealings with clients and suppliers
  • Support the business in meeting its vision, goals, targets and objectives
  • Actively participate and make the most of the training and learning opportunities of the sales training programme


  • Have a natural interest in technology and cybersecurity
  • Have a minimum of 1 years’ experience of selling technology products or services
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Be outgoing and have an engaging personality
  • Be comfortable working in a dynamic environment
  • Be well-organized and self-motivated
