OKEFORD: Flexible Network Announcement Server

The Okeford Network Announcement Server provides flexible network announcements for TDM networks. The Okeford Network Announcement Server incorporates the proven and widely deployed Cognitronics Expanded Announcement Software Module (EASM), deployed for over 25 years on Cognitronics’ MCIAS and CX Series hardware.

The combination of the Okeford and the EASM provides an attractive and low-risk solution to for Communications Service Providers wishing to offer network announcement services in legacy networks. As a direct replacement for CX or MCIAS solutions, the Okeford Network Announcement Server can be deployed without the need for expensive staff re-training as all existing user interfaces are retained unchanged.

Carrier Class, Proven Platform

The Okeford Network Announcement Server shares the same carrier-class hardware platform as the Okeford Media Resource Function.

As networks migrate to next-generation technologies, the Okeford Network Announcement Server can be enhanced to support IP Media Resource Function capabilities via a simple software upgrade.
