IP Convergence with CCXML Control

The Okeford Media Resource Function enables migration to IMS-based networks, while providing legacy connectivity to ensure support for legacy, revenue generating services. New applications can be added added to capitalise on revenue opportunities.

In addition to a certified VoiceXML interface, the Okeford Media Resource Function also supports CCXML (Call Control XML).

CCXML enables control of telephony signaling in media sessions and has been incorporated into the NGN IMS architecture. Media Resource Control Protocol (MRCP) is used to integrate with speech recognition and speech synthesis engines.
