Media platforms, also known as media servers or media resource functions, provide these voice services (as well as music and video) to give the subscribers an easy to use interactive audio experience. Modern media platforms can be flexibly programmed to prompt subscribers in multiple languages, listen to their replies and react accordingly to provide the required services.
