The OKEFORD Announcement Server is a low-risk replacement for in-service Cognitronics McIAS Series platforms.
The OKEFORD Announcement Server provides flexible network announcements for TDM networks. By porting the reliable and widely-deployed Expanded Announcement Software Module (EASM), deployed for over 25 years on Cognitronics’ McIAS and CX Series hardware, to the state-of-the-art OKEFORD platform, Telesoft Technologies has given carriers an attractive and low-risk solution to their needs.
For customers familiar with Cognitronics CX Series or McIAS announcement servers, the OKEFORD Announcement Server can be deployed without the need for expensive staff re-training as all existing user interfaces are retained unchanged.
The OKEFORD 1500 Announcement Server shares the same carrier-class hardware platform as Telesoft Technologies’ widely deployed OKEFORD 1500 Media Platform. As networks migrate to next-generation technologies, the OKEFORD 1500 Announcement Server can be upgraded to become a fully-fledged OKEFORD Media Platform via software upgrade alone.
By offering a migration path to next-generation networks, Telesoft Technologies ensures that investment made today can be retained as networks evolve to IMS technologies such as SIP and VoiceXML.
